The Miami County Clerk's Office does not have forms available in the office for Dissolution of Marriage. Please visit indianalegalhelp.org to get the proper forms. Once all forms are completed, print the documents and bring to the Miami County Clerk's Office, 25 N. Broadway Rm 208, Peru IN to file. The cost of filing a Dissolution of Marriage is $157.00 (with service to the other party by certified mail), $185.00 (with service to the other party by Sheriff). Service must be given to the other party for the case to continue. If you request no hearing, or are in agreement, there is a mandatory 60 waiting period before the Petition goes to the Judge for approval. Most Dissolutions that have children between parties will have to appear in court, and have a Child Support Worksheet included in the Dissolution filing.
