The Community Service Program serves both adult and juvenile offenders. In most cases, offenders are required to perform community service work as a condition of fulfilling their probation.
The Community Transition Program, which was established under Indiana Code IC 11-8-1-5.5, is the assignment of an offender, by the Court, from the Department of Correction to Community Corrections.
Electronic home detention, often referred to as home incarceration, holds criminal defendants accountable for their offenses but also allows them to remain employed and support their families.
