NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ORIDINACE AMENDING THE MIAMI COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Miami County Plan Commission will hold a public hearing on May 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., in the G.A.R. Room of the Miami County Courthouse, to consider a proposed ordinance amending the Miami County Zoning Ordinance to regulate clothing optional developments to apply in all zoned Districts. 

The proposed ordinance is on file for examination in the office of the Miami County Plan Commission, Room 101, Miami County Courthouse, during regular business hours. Written objections to the proposed amendments may be filed in the Office of the Plan Commission at any time prior to the hearing, and will be considered by the Plan Commission. Oral comments made at the hearing concerning the proposed amendments will also be heard. The hearing may be continued from time to time as the Plan Commission may find necessary. 

The Plan Commission, at its May 8, 2024, meeting scheduled to be held immediately following the hearing, may vote on its recommendation to the Board of Commissioners to either adopt or reject the proposed ordinance.
