IC 6.1.1-22-8(b)(2) states “…The county treasurer may mail or transmit the statement …at least 15 business days before the date on which the first or only installment is due…” Typically, tax statements are mailed in mid-April with a first installment due date of May 10.

The Treasurer’s Office is open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday. County offices are closed to observe legal holidays.
Taxpayers may pay the amount due up until the time of the tax sale.
If you have a mortgage escrow, it is possible that your property tax bill was mailed to your lender for payment. Please contact your mortgage company for additional information.
Partial payments will be accepted. However, keep in mind that a 10% penalty will be assessed on any unpaid amount if the tax is not paid in full by the due date.
