1. What is Beautification Day?

Beautification Day is a special day set up for county residents to get rid of some of the items the Solid Waste District does not have a program for. For more information please call 765-472-2544.

2. When is Beautification Day?

The 2016 Beautification days are April 23 and August 27 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. For the location nearest you, please see the Beautification Days page.

3. What can I bring to Beautification Day?

Beautification Day is for any item that the District does not have a program in place for. Some examples include old carpeting and padding, old furniture, mattresses and springs, leftover drywall material, shingles, and any other kind of basic “junk” you may have around the house. 4. Can I make more than 1 trip to the drop off site?

Yes! You may make as many trips as needed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. For more information please call 765-472-2544.

5. Is there anything I can not bring to Beautification Day?

The district asks you to not bring household hazardous waste, paint, oil, antifreeze, or tires to the drop off sites. For more information please call 765-472-2544.

6. Why will you not accept Household Hazardous Waste, and/or Tires at the drop off sites?

We will not accept these items at the drop off sites because we have other programs that provide you a way to dispose of these items.
