UPDATE 4/6/2020
After reviewing the current Covid-19 situation and at the recommendation of the Health Officer, the Board of Commissioners have extended the Courthouse and Annex Buildings closure for all non-essential personnel from April 7, 2020 – April 20, 2020. The Courthouse will remain open Tuesday – Thursday for court personnel, based on their docket schedule and legal requirements. Please be aware that our employees safety is a priority. The offices considered essential are doing their best to continue providing services, but our response time will be slower than normal. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
In accordance with the shelter at home executive order issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Miami County Courthouse will be closing to the general public with exceptions for scheduled court business until April 7th 2020.
The courthouse will remain open Tuesday - Thursday for scheduled court cases.
Some offices will still be able to conduct some business during this time.

~Health Department / Vital Records: Registrar will be in the office on Thursday from 8 am – 4pm. The office will not be open to the public, but can be contacted via phone at 765-472-3901 Ext. 1228 or by email at dvigar@miamicountyin.gov. All mail will be processed at the time as well.
~Health Nurse: Will be on site and available by phone Monday – Friday 8 – 4 pm for State/County documentation and to monitor ongoing situation. The Health Dept. is closed to the public, but you can contact them by phone. Patients already scheduled will be seen, but will be screened and only the patient will be allowed inside the office. Immunization Assistant special hours Monday - Thursday 8 - 4 and Friday 8-12. Immunization Assistant will be available to assist with phone calls.
~Planning and Zoning: Office will continue to issue building permits by appointment only. Applications are on the website and can be completed and emailed to mkmckinney@miamicountyin.gov. Please send a text to 765-469-9344 to notify the email has been sent. If you have any other questions related to Planning and Zoning, please call 765-469-9344.
~Prosecutor: Available by email and phone. Please visit the county website for contact information.

Traffic Tickets: public.courts.in.gov you can look up your case by name, cause number or citation number (located at the top right corner of your ticket) Select the correct case, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “Make a payment”
