The Miami County Health Department is looking for an Assistant Environmental Health Specialist. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Food inspections/investigations, grant writing, complaint response, food related emergency response, and other environmental related responsibilities. The individual must be motivated, able to work both alone and as a team, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and through written correspondence, must have strong multi-tasking skills, and must be able to complete multiple certifications that pertain to the tasks associated with the job. The position is Monday –Friday with occasional nights and weekends required. Resumes will be accepted through July 8th.
