Two truck drivers/laborers
The Miami County Highway Department, 35 German St, Peru Indiana 46970, is currently seeking two truck drivers/laborers with a valid (CDL A or B). Driver/laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a dump truck, plowing snow, hauling salt & sand, asphalt, stone, and materials for county roadway maintenance. Driver/Laborer will maintain municipal and rural roads in Miami County, Indiana.
Employment is first shift, with weekends, holidays and nights off unless there is a snow, ice, water or wind storm emergency. Position is for a forty-hour work week with occasional overtime due to inclement weather. SUMMER HELP MOWER OPERATOR/ LABORER
Positions available for mower operator/ laborer.
DIRECT APPLY at the Miami County Highway Department, 35 German St. Peru, IN 46970, during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Applicate must hold a valid driver’s license,
- Eighteen and over, and have some mowing experience.
- Hours will be from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30
- Pay is $10.00 to $11.00 an hour.
