The Miami County Courthouse and Annex buildings will reopen beginning, Tuesday, May 5, 2020. For the protection of our patrons and employees, the guidelines listed below must be followed to enter the buildings.
Annex patrons should contact the office before their appointment with any questions.
1. All patrons coming in to the Courthouse and Annex buildings MUST wear a mask at all times. Miami County Government will not provide face coverings for patrons entering the building. Please plan accordingly to have the proper facial coverings.
2. All patrons coming to the Courthouse must enter the north entrance (5th Street) and go through the proper screening to enter the building.
3. The Courthouse will be limit the number of patrons to 25, excluding employees and court attendees at one time and will be monitored by Security. Taped markings on the floor will help promote social distancing while patrons are waiting in line. Any patrons found loitering or congregating will be asked to leave the building to allow other patrons to enter who are waiting to conduct business.
4. Annex patrons will be required to practice social distancing. Meetings with clients that can be held electronically should continue to reduce the number of patrons in the building at one time. Social distancing guidelines must be practiced within the lobby, public areas or while waiting in line for an office/assistance.
