NOTICE OF PUBLIC BID
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Indiana Code 36-7-9-11 that the Miami County Plan Commission is seeking sealed bids from licensed contractors for the demolition and disposal of the building located at 220 E Commerce St., Macy, IN 46951, Parcel Number 52-02-18-301-026.000-002. Demolition shall be in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Miami County Plan Commission.
Bids are to be filed in a sealed envelope with the Miami County Plan Commission, 25 N. Broadway, Room 101, Peru, Indiana, 46970 no later than 3:30 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024. Bids are also to be marked on the outside of the envelope with the name and address of the bidder and “Sealed Bid for Miami County Plan Commission Meeting July 10, 2024”. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed and qualified pursuant to Indiana law and/or registered with the Miami County Plan Commission pursuant to Miami County Ordinance. All bids are to be “not to exceed” bids.
Bids may be on State Form 52414 as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts and shall contain such statements as are required by law.
A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of at least Five Percent (5.00%) of the bid and a certificate of insurance must be filed with each bid in order for the bid to be considered.
The sealed bids will be opened at the meeting of the Miami County Plan Commission on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the G.A.R. Room of the Miami County Courthouse, 25 N. Broadway, Peru, Indiana, 46970.
The Miami County Plan Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and portions thereof, to waive minor technicalities and informalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest, subject to the requirements of any applicable laws of procurement.
