The Auditor is the Chief Financial Officer of the County. The Auditor's Office is responsible for handling all receipts and distributions of county funds, payroll for all county employees, human resources, creating financial statements for the County, completing annual reports for review by the State Board of Accounts, and budget preparation and monitoring.
In addition, the Auditor's Office is also responsible for all transfers of properties, maintaining the GIS mapping system, preparing the abstract, calculating property taxes, settlement and distributions, tax sales and property tax deductions.
