Tire Days
 

Have you been wondering what to do with those old tires?  Wonder no longer, simply bring them into Leffler Tire, 138 East 8th Street, Peru on the dates shown below. 

This service is free, but there is a charge if you bring in more than 10 tires.  No more than 2 tires over 22 inches will be accepted at a time.

No tires on rims will be accepted!

Due to people from outside Miami County attempting to drop tires off, we will require proof of residence before dropping off tires. We reserve the right to refuse drop off privileges to anyone not following the county rules.

Tires may be brought in from 8:00 a.m. until Noon on Tire Days.  The Tire Days for 2011 are over, Tire Days for 2012 are still to be determined.

By following the rules of the programs, you help to keep the yearly recycling fee low. When rules are ignored, it costs the Solid Waste District more money to continue the programs, and will result in having to raise the fee to continue to cover the costs related to our recycling programs.
