Arrowhead Country RC&D River Raft Expedition

We started this program on the Mississinewa over 13 years ago. We then moved it to Tippecanoe River because of lack of water during some years.

The ten county Arrow Head Country RC&D (we are members) now put the event on. the event consists of 5-6 days of rafting with 100 kids each day.

Children form North Miami, Oak Hill, and Maconaquah participate. Each school participates on only one day. They learn about water quality, wildlife, forestry, soils, watersheds, etc. as they float the river and go ashore to do activities.

They also take a test on each subject area. A great program that we are proud to sponsor and assist with!!!
