Agricultural Field Day
 

Agricultural Filed Day, or Ag Day, is an opportunity for children to learn about agriculture and how it relates to their world.  Around 80 volunteers helped make Ag Day possible this year.

The Mobile Dairy Classroom, shown at right,  is just one stop during the 4th grade Ag Day for all fourth grade students in Miami County.

Students rotate through 18 sessions and experience a farm petting area.  They also learn about pork, poultry, beef, corn, soybeans, farm safety, farm machinery, soil, forestry, Miami County wildlife, watersheds, fruits,  vegetables, 4-H, dairy, wool spinning, apples, bees, and much more.
