The Miami County Recorder’s Office is pleased to announce that it is providing an on-line subscription service that will allow the public the ability to have their name/property monitored within the County Recorders office in order to track possible fraudulent activity. Subscribers will be notified (by email or phone) only when the name they have submitted is used in any recording activities within the County Recorder’s Office.

Protecting consumers’ information and real estate property are our top priorities and require more education and vigilance than at any time in the past. Fraud and identity theft are commonplace problems in today’s world. While Property Fraud Alert does not prevent fraud from happening it will provide an early warning system that will allow our valued customers to take appropriate actions should they deem possible fraudulent activity has occurred.
