The Victim's Assistance Office was created as a division of the Miami County Prosecutor’s Office.

Persons who have been victimized by a crime for which a defendant has been charged, can seek the Office’s Advocate to ease the pain of either a personal or property crime.

Our Advocate can refer individuals to counseling agencies, victim’s compensation fund, women’s shelters, or many others.

Our Advocate can also be a liaison between the Prosecutor’s Office, law enforcement, the criminal justice system, and the victim.   Visit our Victim's Remembrance page.   For additional information please call 765-472-3901 extension 289.

For more information about domestic violence, please visit out domestic violence links page.

For abused children, there is a dedicated advocacy office called CASA
