Lead poisoning is very dangerous and occurs as the result of being exposed to lead in one's environment.  Lead poisoning can result in serious complications for both children and adults.

 

Children can suffer from brain damage, nervous disorders, kidney damage, hearing loss, and more.  In adults, lead poisoning can cause infertility in men, pregnancy problems including miscarriages in women, memory problems, high blood pressure, cataracts, and nervous disorders.  In both adults and children, there are many other dangers as well.
