About the Emergency Management Agency
 

The Emergency Management agency serves Miami County in the areas of mitigation, preparedness, response, and Recovery tactics.

Whether it is in administrative duties like planning, training and exercising, or performing in a physical capacity with our Volunteer Units, it is our mission to insure that the citizens of Miami County are protected from all threats that may endanger their lives, property, or general welfare.

This entails having a close working relationship with all law enforcement, fire, Emergency Management Services (EMS), public health officials, elected officials, and local businesses and industry.
