Work Crew

Courts sentence offenders to a specific number of days to serve on the Work Crew. Offenders are then directed, by Community Corrections, on how to complete their Work Crew obligation.

The Work Crew program has completed many hours of community service work.  It has benefited many organizations, including:
The City of Peru
Nickel Plate Trail, Inc.
The Miami County Museum
St. Vincent De Paul
The Bunker Hill Fire Department
The Amboy Fire Department
The Miami County Highway Department
The Ole Olson

The program is not only beneficial to these organizations, but it also provides a positive sanction for criminal offenders and it gives them an opportunity to give back to this community.

If you or your organization has a community project which could benefit from assistance for the Miami County Community Corrections Work Crew, please contact Angie Bever at (765) 472-8599.
