Commissioner Hawley called the meeting of the Board to order.

The Board discussed the unemployment claim for Kathy Morgan Smith of the Health Department.

HIGHWAY ENGINEER ISSUE
Ken Einselen brought information concerning the realignment of bridge #85. He explained the building up of the embankments. This is the bridge at the intersection of Meridian Road and Lover's Lane. Commissioner Deeds stated that he feels the stop should be on Meridian. After some discussion concerning the alignment of the road the Board agreed to take this up next Monday in their regular meeting.

MCEDA RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE BOARD FOR 2008 BUDGET
The Board received the recommendations from MCEDA to allow the requests of $25,000 for Tourism and $1,000 for Small Business Administration. No action was taken.

UP COMING JAIL PROJECT DISCUSSION
Commissioner Hawley mentioned that the Board has been asked to consider hiring a maintenance person prior to the jail being completed. No action was taken. They will review this issue at a later date.

CLAIMS
A motion was made by Commissioner Boyer to allow Commissioner Hawley to sign the claims for payment. The motion was 2nd by Commissioner Deeds and passed 3-0.

A motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Deeds. The motion was 2nd by Commissioner Boyer and passed 3-0.
