About the Clerk's Office
The
Clerk's Office assists the Miami County Court Judges
in the execution of their judicial duties by preparing, recording, and
maintaining court documents. The Clerk's Office maintains these records
for the public.
Other duties of the Clerk's office include
passport applications, marriage
licenses, small claims cases
(including evictions), probate,
civil cases (including divorces and adult name
changes), juvenile cases (all juvenile cases are confidential to the public),
criminal cases, voter registration and
election results.
Certain payments are made at the Clerk's offices such as
child support,
traffic tickets,
ordinance
violations, criminal court costs and fines, juvenile
placement costs and fines, small claims
judgments, and civil judgments.
You may now also make payments of
traffic and ordinance violations, and
criminal court costs and fines online. A nominal
service fee does apply to online payments.
