About the Auditor's Office

Photo Credit: John Evans for Miami CountyThe Auditor is the Chief Financial Officer of Miami County.  The Auditor's Office is responsible for handling the payments of all bills, payroll for all county employees, human resources,  and filing proper reports to the State of Indiana.

The Auditor's office also processes all tax distributions for Miami County, seeing that schools and other tax units receive their funding.  This office also manages the filing of all applications for tax exemptions.

 

Additionally, the Auditor maintains the minutes of all County Commissioner's meetings and County Council meetings.
