Commissioner's Certificate Sale

A Commissioner's Certificate Sale will be held in the Commissioner's room of the courthouse on Tuesday August 19, 2008.  The sale will begin at 10:00 am EST. 

For sale will be several properties that were not sold during the Real Estate Tax Sale in June.

How it works is different than a Real Estate Tax Sale.  The high bidder is issued a certificate of sale, and they must then notify any interested parties.  If the property owner of record has not redeemed the property within four months, the high bidder is issued a deed.
