About the Assessor's Office
 

The primary function of the County Assessor is to assess the value of real and personal property.  These assessments are based on the guidelines and regulations set forth by state legislators and adopted by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance.

Effective July 1, 2008 per Indiana State mandate,  Peru and Peru Township assessment services are now being handled by this office along with assessing for all other townships in Miami County.
